Laminate flooring is not recommended to be installed directly over plain RCC subfloors. It should be laid over a stable base such as commercial tiles, marble, or plywood to help prevent moisture-related issues and cracking sounds. Additionally, an adequate expansion gap must be left along all walls and fixed surfaces to allow for natural movement of the flooring.
